Camiant's Bandwidth on Demand Application Manager (BoD AM) enables the quick integration of new applications into the access network, without the application itself requiring any specific knowledge about the access network technology. Camiant's BoD AM receives service requests from applications via HTTP or SOAP messages, and translates those requests into standards-compliant service requests. The service request then is forwarded to a policy server for establishing the appropriate quality of service (QoS), charging and quota rules.
