With Camiant, policies associated with allocation and use of network resources are lifted from the shoulders of the application, freeing the application to do what it does best (which is to deliver the media stream, connect the phone call or serve the video game). Decoupling policy control and topology management from the application also leverages the inherent strengths of broadband network standards, which allow for reliable performance and superior economics across multiple applications.
