Module DRT-4
Course Title: Disaster Recovery and Basic Platform Troubleshooting

Goal:
To provide in-depth understanding of the built-in backup and restore utilities, tools and utilities used to diagnose and resolve common configuration problems, and Camiant documentation resources needed to support the MPE and Manager systems.

Intended Audience:
Systems and network engineers
Individuals that are required maintain, troubleshoot, and recover Camiant systems.
Network support and engineering staff
Product development and testing personnel
Others who require in-depth understanding of Camiant product offerings.

Prerequisite Skills:

Camiant ILT or self-paced module “CONF-3” (Configuration and Provisioning Using the Manager Interface)
Knowledge of the Internet Protocol.
Familiarity with supported hardware platforms.
Familiarity with software installation methods on Linux platforms.

Materials required:
Each student will be required to connect to Camiant systems to perform hands on exercises (when equipment is required) to accomplish the mode of instructional delivery. A laptop computer is required.

Certification:
Each student is awarded a certificate of completion.
