Mature Start up looking for Product Manager to Evangelize Broadband Policy Technology
Location: Marlborough, MA
Travel: up to 40%, some international
Job Description
The Product Manager will define and manage requirements for the leading broadband policy control platform managing delivery of IP-based services across fixed and mobile access technologies. The Product Manager will be a key voice in creating the roadmap for all of Camiant’s products and in turn be a significant part of the strategic direction of the company.
Specific responsibilities include:

Work with customers to evangelize solutions and define requirements
•
Work with sales personnel to develop trials and close deals
•
Work with partners to position and define integrated solutions
•
Work with engineering to define industry standards, build product and manage product schedules
•
Evangelize product throughout the industry including analyst and media community
Job Requirements
•
Deep understanding of network architectures and technologies. Familiarity with standards bodies (3GPP, ETSI, TISPAN, CableLABS, WiMAX Forum) as well as 3G and 4G access technologies (EVDO, Rev A, UMTS, HSPA, WiMAX, LTE)
•
5+ years of experience defining software product requirements for engineering organizations required. Software Engineering experience is a plus
•
5+ years of customer-facing experience creating solutions and defining requirements is required, specifically with tier-1 operators
•
7-10 years experience working in fixed or mobile broadband industry or similar
•
Highly motivated self-starter that can serve part of a small team to expand a successful, leading edge product
•
BS Required/Masters preferred or equivalent
•
Proven ability to handle many roles at once
