Product Manager - Wireless Technology
Location: Marlboro, MA
Job Description:
Define and manage requirements for the leading broadband access network policy control platform managing quality of service for IP-based services based on application needs, customer feedback and standards directions.

Work with customers to evangelize solution, define requirements
|
• |
Work with sales people to develop trials and close deals |
• |
Work with partners to position and define integrated solutions |
• |
Work with engineering to define industry standards |
• |
Work with engineering to build product and manage schedules |
• |
Evangelize product throughout the industry including analyst and media community. |
Experience/Educational Requirements:
• |
Deep understanding of network architectures and technologies. Familiarity with 3GPP/3GPP2, ETSI TISPAN, CableLABS, and WiMAX Forum standards bodies as well as 3G and 4G access technologies. (EVDO Rev A, UMTS, HSPA, WiMAX, LTE/SAE) |
• |
Deep understanding of networking and quality of service concepts and mechanisms from IP networking required; DiffServ, RSVP, MPLS
|
• |
3+ years of experience defining software product requirements for engineering organizations required. Software Engineering experience a plus. |
• |
3+ years of customer-facing experience creating solutions and defining requirements required |
• |
7 to 10 years of experience overall |
• |
Highly motivated self-starter that can serve as part of a small team to expand a successful, leading edge product |
• |
BS required/Masters preferred
or equivalent |
• |
Proven ability to handle many roles at once |
• |
Travel potentially up to 40% including international |
• |
